DCS Scarecrow fun competition. Many of our staff, students, and even the Board of Education have started to put up their Scarecrow displays. We are looking for the Community to VOTE on their favorites. Stay tuned for more details on how to vote! Voting starts this “Maple Leaf” weekend.
Speaking of this weekend. There’s lots of things going on so make sure to get out and enjoy them.
The Chamber’s Antique Car Show will be held right on the DCS grounds.

Reminder: No school for students this Friday, October 7th and Monday, October 10th.
Also, next Friday, October 14th will be our annual early release drill. Students will be dismissed 15 minutes early. Buses will leave the school at 2:15, and walkers may be picked at the main entrance by 2:15.

The National Honor Society Blood Drive that was scheduled for 10/7 has been cancelled and rescheduled to 11/14.

The second graders and Mrs. Frisbee would like to thank Beth Barnes and Stacey Mattson for their donations of lilies, so we could learn about the parts of a flower and pollination in STEM Class.
Boys and Girls Modified Games scheduled for today have been moved to Friday Oct 7th. 4:15pm both at DCS.
