Let’s Get Wild About Reading!
Downsville Central School students in Grades Pk-6 will be reading their way towards A TRIP TO A ZOO!. Each class will be striving to meet their reading minute goals each month. This exciting promoting reading incentive program kicks off TODAY! Students and teachers will keep track of the minutes read at home and at school. Stay tuned for all the exciting, unique reading opportunities coming to Downsville Central School this school year along with some MAJOR events. Top 3 readers will also be recognized!! Let’s get wild about READING!

Picture Day Retakes scheduled for November 8th
ATTENTION!!
School will be dismissing at 1pm today, Tuesday Oct 26th.
ALL afterschool activities have been CANCELLED for today 10/26/21.
Halloween UPDATE: If the weather forces us to be inside for the Halloween parade, parents/guests will be allowed in the gymnasium and can sit in the bleachers.
*Masks are required inside the building regardless of vaccination status!*
Parents will use the bus loop entrance and will be let in starting at 1:00 pm. Parents can sign their child out with their teacher at the conclusion of the parade.
The parade will be livestreamed regardless of location (indoors or outside).
Trick-or-Treating will be held at each towns discretion so far we've been informed of:
Town of Colchester-Friday
East Branch-Saturday
There will be boys modified soccer practice on Wednesday 10/27/21 for team pictures. Please bring your forms, money and uniforms. Shuttle leaves the normal time.

The Boys Varsity Soccer team will play Milford/Laurens in the 2nd round of the Section IV Tournament on THURSDAY, October 21st at 3:30. Game will be here in Downsville.
