After School Program Information
-After School Program is available for all students in grades K-12.
-the After School Program runs Monday – Thursday, from 2:28-late bus, according to the school calendar schedule, beginning Monday 9/19/2022 through Thursday 6/8/2023.
-the late bus departs DCS at 5:30pm.
-please sign and return the attached permission slip by Wednesday 9/14/2022. By returning this permission slip you are signing your child up to attend the program every day that it is in session.
-if your child will not be attending the program on any given day, please send in a note stating that your child will not be there.
-a permanent note can be written if the student is staying on a consistent schedule but not every day, however a note must be sent in if there is any change in that permanent schedule for a particular day.
-once a student is signed out of the program (for a sports game, practice or club) they cannot return to the program.
-all rules and procedures set forth in the DCS student handbook will apply at the After School Program. (3 behavioral “strikes”= 1 week off from the program)
-the program will consist of snack time, academic time and activity time. Homework help will also be available.
