The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, Central New York Developmental Disabilities State Operations (DDSO), is currently recruiting 2022 graduating seniors to become Direct Support Professionals. The NYS OPWDD CNY DDSO has immediate job openings in the direct care field of helping individuals with disabilities live fuller richer lives in his/her community.
Within DELAWARE County, the NYS OPWDD CNY DDSO has five residential homes where we employ Direct Support Professionals (Developmental Support Assistants). Full and part-time positions are available and the minimum qualifications to apply are a Valid Driver’s License and a High School Diploma or Equivalent or Direct Support Professional Certification from an accredited public or private organization.
