Backpack Buddies Program started the Fall of 2019. This program provides students with a backpack to take home over the weekend with nutritious snacks. Any member of Downsville Central School district is eligible.

Bags go home every Friday.

Each bag contains: 2 Grains, 2 Fruits & Vegetables, 2 Dairy, 2 Proteins

Presently just about 60 students are served.

Backpack Buddies Program is funded through donations from clubs, organizations, churches, and with the help of a matching Grant from O’Connor Foundation.
