Hi,

I am the Special Education Coordinator at Downsville Central School.  I do what is necessary for the CSE, CPSE, 504 and AIS programs. 

As a teenager I knew that I wanted to work for the youth of our great nation. I was unsure as to how I would accomplish this and was guided by circumstance to my present position. I have been here 15 years and look forward to coming to work everyday. 

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies at the State University of Oneonta. It provided me with experiences in the areas of Sociology, Education and Psychology. My motto is "You deserve the opportunity to receive the academic and social skills necessary to be successful in school and through out life". We are all different and may have different needs to level the playing field of life.

I have three boys and just like them, my husband and I attended DCS. I am proud of our school and community.
